What to expect

Spend a memorable day with your family at Barcelona Zoo, home to one of Europe’s most important animal collections. Founded in 1892 when banker Lluís Martí Codolar donated his exotic and native animals to the city, the zoo now houses around 4,000 animals.

See big cats, tropical birds, reptiles, and descendants of Snowflake, the only albino gorilla in the world. All animals live in habitats designed to mimic their natural environments.
