What to expect

As family activities go, it's hard to beat a visit to Palma Aquarium. It's brimming with marine life and plenty of other attractions like the 3D Aquadome – a cinematic humpback whale experience.

See hundreds of species from the Med as well as explore the Tropical Seas section, where there are 25 tanks with species from the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans. Don't miss the Amazonian ecosystem display in the Jungle zone or the exhibition on endangered bluefin tuna. There are also two play areas and a Splash Park that the kids will love.

Choose the Silver ticket and you'll have access to the 3D Aquadome – a spectacular cinematic experience that immerses you in the world of humpback whales. And for the ultimate adventure, the Gold ticket offers an exclusive backstage tour where you can learn what it takes to be an aquarist. What's more, both upgrade options include lunch at the new Jellyfish Restaurant.

The aquarium was too dark on the walkways , food and stink overpriced a sandwich was 10 euro . Indoor play was rubbish for the 2 year old was told we could not access the main part as you had to be 3 years and older. Dragged drawn out day. Coach transfer going had no aircon on . Overall a rubbish overpriced day out

The aquarium itself was fantastic and you could definitely spend the day without getting bored. TUI guide Alison was amazing, very accommodating and knowledgable, ensured pick up times and locations were clear. Food included and a small gift was an excellent touch.
